Stampin' Up! Beauty of the Earth Card

Use your Stampin’ Up! papers! Yes! Use your Stampin’ Up! papers to create gorgeous cards. Yes they are pretty to look at in your storage box but while they sit there can you then justify buying more papers? So use them! Find layouts you like in Pinterest, create a board for yourself where you save just card ideas using patterned papers. Then use these layout ideas to create multiple cards using different papers.

My card today could be repeated over and over again using different papers, different dies, different colour inks, card and embellishments. It is a classic layout and one I go to all the time when I want to craft with little effort. It can look different every single time I use it.

Using dies that layer adds extra interest to the card. A bit of bling in the majority of cases will finish off a card beautifully. Don’t go over the top with adding embellishments. Remember less is more. Always work in odd numbers, so 3 or 5 is the usual amount. I have created my card using the retiring papers Beauty of the Earth. The Stitched So Sweetly dies are also retiring.

Covering the complete card front with paper is a terrific way to make a card look extra special. If you use your Stamaparatus, getting the paper perfectly positioned on the card front is easy. Tuck your card front into the upper corner of the Stamparatus. Add adhesive to your paper piece. Using Multipurpose liquid glue will give you slippage to position perfectly if required. Position the paper above the card front and tuck the top right hand corner of the paper into the top right corner of the Stamparatus, lower the paper onto the card and make sure the paper is lining up top, side and bottom.

Go ahead and enjoy your papers by using them! Use your Stampin’ Up! papers! Use any other papers you have on hand, that way you can justify buying yourself some more. And with a new Annual Catalogue coming out in less than two weeks you will want the space for some of the beautiful papers you will see in the catalogue!
