I’ve used the Sale-a-bration free die set, Summer Shadows to create this inlaid embossing card. The dies are a match to the Shaded Summer stamp set which you can find in the Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue.
To see a card I made using this technique over ten years ago click here.
Inlaid embossing or faux fabric is done by adhering your die cut papers or images to your card mat and then running the whole piece through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine,
For my card I have stamped the images from Shaded Summer in Misty Moonlight ink, then die cut them using the Summer Shadows dies. The embossed card mat was then raised up with Dimensionals and added to a standard folded card front in Misty Moonlight.
To earn this pretty die set for free during Sale-a-bration, it can be yours for a $180 Aust Stampin’ Up! product order. Sale a-a-bration ends September 30, after that date it will no longer be available. Visit my online store to make your order. FYI you can save your order to come back to later.
Happy Stamping!
