My Stylish Sketches card was created using the Stylish Sketches stamp set. This lovely set of three stylised image stamps is yours for free with a $90 order during Sale-a-bration. I CASE’d my card from a Stampin’ Up! sample I saw on Instagram. I changed the colour to Bermuda Bay and selected a greeting for the occasion that I was making the card for. I love the effect of first blending Bermuda Bay ink onto the Stitched Rectangle die cut using a blending brush.
Next step was to stamp the leaf image onto the die cut using more Bermuda Bay ink. Before the next step the card piece needs to be completely dry. Otherwise embossing powder will stick to the damp spots. So when dry stamp the same image using Versamark ink, then apply gold embossing powder and heat set.
The greeting is from Celebrating You. Stamped in Bermuda Bay onto Very Vanilla card and die cut using Stylish Shapes die set. The ribbon under the greeting is a new addition to the Stampin’ Up! range. You will find Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged ribbon in the new Mini Catalogue.
The embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds pack. The die cut piece was then added to a Bermuda Bay folded base to create my Stylish Sketches card.
