For those of you unable to attend the recent heartfelt Stampin’Event here in Melbourne, I’d like to show you my cards that I presented in my Heartfelt Card Class.
I started off demonstrating a quick and easy card design, one I used to do in workshops a few years ago. It was an idea I saw on Marelle Taylor’s blog when I started demonstrating over 5 years ago. It is called a No-Cut card and is very suitable for doing when needing to do a lot of cards in a hurry.
It involves stamping up your neutral A6 piece of card – here I’ve used Jolly Bingo Bits,
fold your A5 card in half,
stamp your greeting and punch it out – thhis is important as you need to know how much card to leave when tearing so as your greeting will fit,
now the good bit – tear down your card from top to bottom,
attach ribbon,
adhere stamped card piece to underside of torn front piece,
adhere punched greeting,
your card is done!
Card – Real Red, Confetti White
Ink – Real Red, Garden Green
Ribbon – from the new catalogue Whisper White stitched grosgrain
I’ve got other samples that I will post a a later stage. I have to leave something in reserve for when I haven’t had time to create!
