“Feeling Sentimental” is the best Sale-a-bration stamp set to be released in the six years I have been with Stampin’Up! It is proving to be hugely popular with my customers and personally I love it too! You only have to look on Pinterest to see loads of lovely cards created with this stamp set.
You can have this stamp set for FREE if you make a $100 order for Stampin’Up! products with me over the next two months during Sale-a-bration. Here are the cards I made with my first play with the stamp set.
The detail in this stamp set is wonderful and comes out beautifully every time you stamp it. This card uses a couple of items from the soon to end Holiday catalogue – the Framelit Window Frames Collection and the paper is from Festival of Prints DSP stack. Now if you haven’t got the paper stack yet you only have tomorrow to order it as the Holiday catalogue finishes at midnight tomorrow (Jan 31). But if you are after the Framelits then breathe a sigh of relief, these will carry over and are available in the new Seasonal catalogue starting Feb 1st here in Australia.
There is also another Sale-a-bration stamp set used on this card. The sentiment comes from Vintage Verses and it consists of four different sentiments in different fonts.
Now I liked this layout so much I continued with it to create my other two cards from the “Feeling Sentimental” set!
Do you like the DSP? It is from the new seasonal catalogue and is available in the paper stack called “Print Poetry”. There are 48 pages in this stack and they are the right size for card fronts or mounting photos. The sentiment is also from “Feeling Sentimental”. I’ve stamped it onto Natural cotton ribbon, another item which is carrying over from the Holiday catalogue.
And here is my final card.
Same layout but I went for a more dramatic look with the red and black. The background on the black card has been done using the Builder wheel “Travel Journal” and I’ve inked it on the Illuminate ink pad ( another item carrying over from the Holiday catalogue).
Another seasonal catalogue sneak peek here – Real Red Core’dinations card.
I hope you have enjoyed my cards and that I have given you some ideas for your card creating.
