Accordion Thankyou Card

Spread the love

One of our esteemed midwives is finally calling it a day and I was asked to make a farewell card for her. It was a hard decision as to what style of card to make – had to large enough for everyone to sign, plus look terrific. I ultimately decided on an accordion card as I could get several card faces into it and hopefully have room for everyone to sign on the back – but probably not, there are lots of staff who will want to sign the card!

I opted to use some retired items as I have them there to be used – so why not! So here is the card front.

It was a labour of love as I have known Jannette since I was a student midwife in 1982 and have enjoyed working with her on night duty for the last 9 years plus. It will be a big loss to our Birth Suite to see all years of wisdom leaving us. I hope it has been imparted onto all of us over the years.
