Here I am at Creative Dreams Getaways for a team get together over five days. My team and I are now making the trip to Maldon to stay at Creative Dreams Getaways every six months. It is so worth the two hour plus drive to get out into the countryside and to spend time together with some of my Inksationals Stampin’ Up! team members.
Look at the fabulous craft room layout in the photo below. It is a card makers and scrapbookers dream setup! The lighting is terrific, there is a tea and coffee corner, a potbelly stove in the other corner and lovely views out of the windows. Plenty of power points and the tables are high low ones.
The setup caters to 10 crafters. There are four bedrooms, two of them sleep three and the other two bedrooms sleep two people. Two bathrooms and a wonderfully set up kitchen where we self cater for our meals. Part of the fun before coming is creating our menu for the time we are away. We each take charge of a meal (lunch or dinner) and we have the most amazing meals with desserts! No weight loss happens on these getaways!!!!! Did I mention chocolate is compulsory?
We create pillow gifts for each other. We have started calling them table gifts. Sweets and chocolates are in three of those gifts! Rmember I did say chocolate was compulsory! The potplant has a stamped image and sentiment on the side of the pot. Very clever!
Above is my setup for the four days. Due to some of our regular team members being unable to come on this trip we do have a lot more space to spread out. I wouldn’t normally get three tables to spread over!!!!
Maldon is a lovely historical gold mining town in central Victora. There are some great shops and we all always end up helping the local economy with our purchasing!!! If we go out to eat, the local hotel does great meals.

We have our two stays for 2023 already booked in! It is a fulfilling time away connecting with each other, sharing ideas and chatting about life in general. We all love it!
