My Welcoming Window Mother’s Day card is a reminder that now is the time to start planning your Mother’s Day card/s. Just on a month until Mother’s Day. The pretty stamp set and dies, Welcoming Window and Window Flower Box dies make gorgeous Mother’s Day cards because among the stamp sentiments is this really lovely Mother’s Day sentiment stamp.
The stamps in this set stamp up with lovely detail and create a soft texture appearance. A nice change from straight solid lines. Personally I love it! For this card I did add in the greenery stamp from the Very Versailles set. It adds a nice touch to the wall behind the window. Sad to see it on the retiring Last Chance List. So too is the Welcoming Window and Window Flower Box dies. All three are reduced in price so a good time to order them if they are not already in your collection.
If you are into knowing colours used for my card, the base is Mossy Meadow, the mat is Gray Granite. Inks are Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite and Cinnamon Cider ( retiring In Color ). I ran my fingernail around the edge of the smaller Basic White mat to add some texture. You can use a distress tool however I find my finger nail does just as good a job! Some Rhinestones were added for some bling. All Mums need some bling!
