Here’s a way to use the Dainty Flowers papers currently available as free gift item during Sale-a-bration. This particular sheet of papers is soooooo pretty! It seems a shame to cut into it! But if we don’t slice into our papers we can never justify getting any more! This paper allows for quick and easy cards to b created. Just mix and match with various ribbons or threads and add a sentiment that suits the occasion.

It is so simple to cut the papers into three equal sized stripes to fit the card front size in your country. It’s crazy that different countries around the world have different cardstock sizes! I gave this design a Thick Basic White card base to allow the paper design to be the star. The sentiment for the card above is from the matching Dainty Flowers stamp set. The die is from the Lights Aglow die set that has carried over from the Holiday Mini catalogue. The ribbon is silver edge metallic ribbon.

To step things up I added a mat behind the papers for this card and did something a bit different with the ribbon embellishment. Stylish Shapes dies and Layering Circles dies this time for the sentiment also from the Dainty Delight stamp set. If you look closely you will see the tiny brass butterfly embellishments that were added to finish the card.

The third card has a Rich Razzleberry card base. The embellishment is White Bakers Twine wrapped around the paper three times and tied in a bow. In my scraps drawer I found some Crushed Curry card with Adhesive backing on it so die cut the delicate daisy die from the Dainty Delights die set and added it to my card beside the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Sending Support. The clear embellishments are from the Elegant Faceted Gems pack.

A beautiful pack of papers that you can receive for free during Sale-a-bration when you place a $90 Stampin’ Up! order now and until February 28. To view other Sale-a-bration products and see ideas for them click here and here.
