I am really impressed by how well the Waves of Inspiration Bundle works to create a beautiful card. Look at how lovely the Blue Foils work with the wave dies. Then look at the detail that happens with the Waves stamp.
The image was stamped in Night of Navy then I went over the open areas with a Pool Party Stampin’ Blend pen. It softened the inked image and created a more watery image. The image was stamped on Shimmery White card to give a bit subtle shimmer to the image. I used a blending brush and Pool Party ink to create the sky. The birds in flight were stamped in Basic Grey.
The two label dies in this bundle will be very useful. Here l have stamped the greeting on vellum and used the die to cut it out. Using vellum created a softer look to the card front rather than using white or Pool Party card.
I generally like my cards to be symmetrical in layers however when I was playing with colours to add as a mat somehow this piece of Coastal Cabana I was trying out just looked right to me. What do you think? I’d love you to leave a comment below with your thoughts about my layering.
The card base is Night of Navy cardstock.
You can see the stamp set details and dies in the photo below. I can tell you the pelican image stamps up beautifully, just as you would expect of any Stampin’ Up! stamp!
