If you follow my blog you will know that last month I taught how to do Herringbone technique in my classes. As I’m still making samples for my poster displays for Paperific in May I decided to play around with the herringbone technique to create a different background for my cards. Here is the result!
Colours are – Pink Pirouette, Island Indigo and Rose Red.
Designer Series paper is Fan Fair and stamp images are from the set – Postage Due.
Punches are -Postage Stamp, Modern Label and Decorative Label ( trimmed down, a neat way to get more use from your punches!)
The secret to creating these backgrounds and what makes the whole process is a lot easier are Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets $25.95 -120805 in the main catalogue. These sheets are ideal for this type of technique or Bargello or paper quilting.
