I love these Two Tone Flora simple stamping cards! I made the one above first and loved the colour combination so much, I had to try out some more colour combinations. Plus I enjoyed the two step stamping to create these easy simple stamping design cards. There are at least five different floral images with matching details stamps in the set and I also wanted to try them all so another reason to make more cards during my craft play time!

The above colour combination is Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Evening Evergreen. Fresh Freesia and Evening Evergreen are 2021-2023 In colors so will be retiring at the end of April. So if these are colours you are after I would get to and order them now before they sellout or retire.

I think of the three cards I made the one above is my favourite. This time the colour combination is Balmy Blue, Orchid Oasis and Pear Pizzazz. The sentiments on each of the cards are from the Something Fancy stamp set. This set is part of the big Fancy Flora collection which also includes the Two Tone flora stamp set.

I had to finish up playing once I had made the third card, I’d run out of crafting time! So many other colour combination possibilities are still running through my head. The colours above are Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Old Olive. This is the thing I love about Stampin’ Up!, how all the colours coordinate so well with each other. It makes being creative so easy!

Now if you are wondering what simple stamping is, it is a term used to describe a card created using just card, inks and stamps. No extra fiddly bits like die cutting, folds, layers are added. It is a perfect way to create cards when someone first starts on their card making journey using stamps.

The Two Tone Flora stamp set is a two step set. That is you stamp one image then overlay the second image. I found it easiest after practising a few times, to stamp the detail darker image first. then stamp the second paler fill in stamp and line up the stamen area through the see through photopolymer stamp. This area remains white so is easily seen through the stamp. I only missed one slightly in all those images above on all three cards. Can you see it?

If someone is starting out stamping I would recommend the Two Tone Flora set as a great starting point. Add a few inkpads in coordinating colours and gorgeous cards are a definite happening!

Sale-a-bration is in its last week. If you order the Two Tone Flora and the Something Fancy stamp sets plus an inkpad you will make a $90 plus order and you then qualify for a free Sale-a-bration item. See more about Sale-a-bration here. The offers end February 28.
