The Tree for Sale stamp set currently has a matching die set, Tree Lot Dies. However there is only a short time frame left to get these matching dies as they are a Sale-a-bration offering. Which means they are free with an order during Sale-a-bration! And Sale-a-bration ends August 31! So yes time is running out! The Tree for Sale stamp set is in the current Mini Catalogue and has some great images in the set. I’ll be sharing in another post how good these stamps come up when stamped using the two step stamping images in the set.
The matching Tree Lot dies work quite effectively as a stand alone die set however their scope increases if matched with the Trees for Sale stamps. For this card rather than stamp direct onto my Basic White piece and risk making a slip up, I stamped on scrap card and die cut the images. That way no risk of getting the card nearly done and making a boo boo.
You can see the Christmas tree die and the overlay die and how good it looks. Imagine if done in white. It would make your trees snow covered. How cute is the dog stamp and then there is a matching die for the image. The dog stamps up in a single colour. To make some more interest grab a marker and add some coloured patches to the image.
I wasn’t overly keen on this stamp set however once I started playing with the two products I was hooked! Especially once I created a card using the caravan die in the Tree Lot dies set. Click on the highlighted text to see the full set of Tree Lot dies. That caravan card is saved for a future post.
Sale-a-bration ends August 31 so if you are after these dies I would get to now and make a $180 Aust Stampin’ Up! order as there was mention recently that the supply of these dies may run out before the end of Sale-a-bration. That’s the thing to remember with Sale-a-bration, products are only available while supplies last. These dies have already sold out in the US.
Happy Stamping!
