Stampin’Up! Heartfelt Stampin’ Event

Spread the love

Now what has occupied my time so intensely for the last three weeks?

My preparations for the Heartfelt Card  Presentation Class I was asked to give at the Stampin’Up! Heartfelt Stampin’Event which was held here in Melbourne last Saturday is the answer! It was a half hour stage presentation to all the lovely demonstrators and customers attending the event.

Since Stampin’Up! have been in Australia each year they hold events known as Regionals in all the capital cities, well this year they have made a big change to the format and are now focussing on making the day more product orientated and more for customers and their demonstrators. There was so much to see and learn! Plus you got to get your hands inky by playing with loads of new products that will be coming out in the new catalogue and Holiday Seasonal catalogue. It was fabulous day and the atmosphere and vibe was terrific. The masses of amazing displays by the many talented Victorian demonstrators taking part in the Event were amazing! So many tips and new techniques to try out. There were display booths and product playground areas to try out new items such as the new format ink pads, class presentations like the one I was presenting and a tag area where if you created a Christmas tree decoration and hung it on the Christmas tree you received a free stamp from the new catalogue! You can see the fully decorated tree below.

I was very lucky to be able to get my hands on some of the gorgeous new products from the upcoming catalogues to use in my presentation, so I had a lovely time coming up with ideas that I hoped would make everyone inspired to try them out for themselves. I’ll show them off to you over the next few posts.

Here I am on stage doing my presentation! I am very pleased to say I had no bleach or embossing powder accidents during either of my presentations!!! Always a worry when your hands are shaking!!!!!

Above is one of the cards I presented. The theme for the event was Christmas and so everything we played with was orientated towards Christmas as were all the displays. Perfect timing for everyone to start planning their Christmas card making wishlists!!! Below are some of the product display boards.

I had such a busy day setting up for my class presentations and catching up with so many demonstrator friends and customers that I did not get to try out everything on offer, or do my make and takes and I did miss some of the booth presentations but those I did see were fabulous. I’m even contemplating going to one of the other three events on offer just to see what will be displayed at those events and to have a better try out in the Product Playground. If you have the chance to attend one of the upcoming events, I would thoroughly recommend it! The new format is much more relaxed and informal and encourages a lot more socialising…… plus where else would you see Stampin’Up! staff dynamos Bec and Clare doing the “Happy Dance”!!!

Thanks Stampin’Up! for a terrific day!!!!!
