I adore colouring in and this Stampin’Up! Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp fits the bill perfectly! I used Stampin’Blends to do the colouring and shading. These alcohol based pens are lovely to use, the colour flows out beautifully. This card style lends itself to so many occasions. The greeting on the card is actually not attached. I added it for a the card photo to use on FaceBook for Easter! You can find this stamp on page 31 of the 2020 Mini catalogue.
Here are the colours I used for this card.
I also did a softer colour combination using yellows and pinks. I like both of the combinations and hope to do another one using blue and pink tones.
The photo below shows the Stampin’Blends I used on this card.
The cardstock used for stamping on for this card was Shimmery White cardstock 121717. It give a beautiful soft shimmer effect through the coloured images and takes the alcohol markers really well. That is the colour does not bleed excessively as it can do on thinner cardstock.
To colour this stamp image you can use watercolour pencils, watercolour inks, Stampin’Markers or leave it monotone as I did in this card.
Enjoy your day and see you again soon. Thanks for coming by.
