Did you know you can use your Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers with your Decorative Masks? For this card I chose the blue tone Stampin’ Blends and used them to colour in the butterfly mask from the Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Mask pack.
Firstly I outlined the large single butterfly mask with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend. I filled in the outline and then overlayed the second more detailed mask and coloured in the detail with Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends.
The image was fussy cut and added to an embossed card mat. The embossing is done with the Hive 3D embossing folder. The greeting you can see is from the Celebrating You stamp set. You will find it in the mini catalogue. A few Blue Backed Adhesive gems finished off my card.
I have now tried Blends, inks, and embossing powder with different Decorative Masks. Click here to see the embossing powder post. This card is really great!
I have an idea for using Stampin’ Write markers however this will take some time to create so I am not sure when I will get to that technique!
In the meantime have a go using Stampin’ Blends with your Decorative Masks.
Happy Stamping!
Janine
