Check out these three card ideas using the Shaded Summer stamp set from Stampin’Up! For my newsletter each week I will create cards and share different ideas using a particular stamp set.

My first sample shows how to colour the flower image using marker to rubber, Colour the red rubber stamp image using Stampin’Write markers, when ready to stamp huff heavily on the coloured rubber image to moisten the ink and then stamp. The sentiment dies are from the Ornate Frames die set. The paper is from Pansy Petals.

A monchromatic card was my next sample. You could create a whole bevy of these in all your favourite colours. This card has been done using Soft Succulent ink and cardstock. The inspiration for this card was a sample I made last year using the Jar of Flowers stamp set. I made that one using Night of Navy card and ink.

A nice discovery when I put this card together is the Rectangle stitched die fits perfectly inside this scalloped edge die from the Scalloped Contours die set. In Color Polished gems finish off this and the first card.

Card number three shows the stamp set used in three way colour combination card. This combination is Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink. I like this layout, I must remember to use it again in the future.

The Loose Flower Flourishes make a pretty addition to this card. The embossing folder is Ornate Floral 3D. This si the first time I have used the Vellum doilies. I like them and will utilise them a lot more from now on.
