Hi Everyone! Here’s a card I completed for my eldest son’s recent birthday. I played around with a couple of techniques to create this and was quite chuffed with how it turned out!
The background for the clock face was done using the polished stone technique. Reinker colours used on gloss card were Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede and Wild Wasabi.
The cogs have been stamped on gloss card that I backgrounded using Platinum Shimmer paint. What I did was scrunch up some plastic cling wrap and dabbed it into some shimmer paint and daubed it over the gloss card – very effective and soooooo easy to do!
Stamp sets used are – Sense of Time and Perfect Punches.
Accessories – Early Espresso satin ribbon,Antique brads, Neutral brads,Extra large Oval punch, Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack in Brights, Platinum Shimmer paint.
Card – Glossy White and Wild Wasabi.
Inks – Wild Wasabi, Staz-On Black Reinkers – Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi and Soft Suede.
I reckon this is going to be my male card for the year to come – love how it looks!
