Nuts & Bolts Slim Line Card

Stampin' Up! Nuts & Bolts Birthday Card

Last week I created a Nuts & Bolts slim line card for my granddaughter’s 5th birthday. She loves Star Wars and the little middle robot reminded me of R2D2. I chose a slim line card as I wanted to fit all the images onto the card front.

The robots were coloured in using Stampin’ Blends and an extra image was stamped to get the additional layering pieces of the heart and flower. The die used to cut out the images is from the Hippo & Friends die set. I love this set for it’s versatility plus the fact you can layer the dies.

I think the paper pattern I chose works well with the electronic theme created with the robots. It’s the Host Reward paper pack, Pattern Party. Earn this pack for free with a $250 Stampin’ Up! order. Use the Host dollars you earn from that order amount towards getting this 48 12 x 12 paper pack.

Not sure about the size of a slimline card? It’s 8.5 inches x 7 inches, scored on the 7 inch side at 3.5 inches.

My granddaughter loved her Nuts & Bolts slim line card! I hope my card inspires you to try out this cute stamp set. After another idea with this stamp set, click here to see a previous post using it.

Here’s my Stampin’ Up! store link for you, so you can make an order. During Sale-a-bration (on until March 16 in Australia) every multiple of $90 you order qualifies you for a free Sale-a-bration product.

Happy Stamping!
