Following on from my last blog post ( see that post here ) here are some more of the six point spindle cards I have created. This card lends itself beautifully to becoming a mini album. I made one as a memory album for our beautiful golden retriever who became ill in March this year and passed away. It is a lovely keepsake that sits on my desk to remind me of wonderful times we had with her.
I used papers from Inked Botanicals 6×6 to be the panel mats on the six point spindle card.
You can turn the album around to change the photos you see from day to day.
I recently made another mini album for my father in law for his 90th birthday. It features all his grandchildren and great grandchildren from our side of the family.
The six point spindle card below is a beautiful birthday card for some one you care about. I used the Paper Florist dies, Petal Park Builder punch, and Dainty Delight dies.
The greetings are from a range of stamp sets from the current Annual Catalogue.
If posting the card to someone make a wallet for it to protect your lovely creation. This will fit into a business envelope for posting. Using alphabet dies will add some extra specialness to your card. I have used the Alphabet A La Mode dies for the birthday card and the Alphabest stamp set with the Best Label punch for the mini album.
If you would like a tutorial to create your own six point spindle cards, I do have one available for $5 (Aust). This is lovely card or album to create and really once you know how it is very straight forward.
Happy Crafting!
