My first card to share with you is quick and easy Christmas card however this layout will work for any occasion as the focus of the card are the papers. The papers are from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper pack.
The card base is 5 x 10 inches, the matt is 4.75 x 4.75 inches and the papers are cut at 3 x 1.5 inches. I used the Layering Circles dies to create the centre piece and the sentiment came from the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set.
Cutting your papers at this dimension limits the waste as this will use a whole sheet perfectly if you want to mass produce this design.
I did make a mistake with my card colours, can you pick it? The paper pack lists the colours used to make co ordinating your card stock colours easy. I didn’t check and so cut out the Real Red scallop glued it all together and added it onto the card. It wasn’t until I looked at the card this morning and then checked the paper pack that I realised my slip up. The colour should have been Poppy Parade! Lesson learned! Don’t rush, check the paper pack for the colours used!
