My Strong & Beautiful Hydrangea Hill card makes the most of showing off the oh so pretty papers from this pack of Stasmpin’Up! Designer Series Papers. The colours are so vibrant and the Gorgeous Grape base card and greeting mat make it pop even more.
Now I do have a confession to make about this card. I was die cutting the sentiment using the Hippo & Friends dies while having a conversation and then I added the die cut to the mat and left it to then go and follow up on the conversation I’d been having. When I returned and stuck the sentiment onto the card front I realised the sentiment had been die cut crookedly. The die must have shifted as I put it through my embossing machine. What to do to fix it?
I quickly stamped the greeting again from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set ( sadly retired and sold out in Australia ), made sure when I die cut the greeting the die did not shift. Then I simple glued the new greeting straight over the top of the wonky one! Simple! There is always a way to fix a mistake, well in the majority of cases!
Did you notice the little hydrangea flowers added to the papers? These are from the Hydrangea dies all part of the Hydrangea Hill Suite. Click on the names to be taken to my online store to see all the products.
Happy Stamping!
