Here are some of the sample cards I did to show my technique class last month.
The glitter window is so easy to do and with December just around the corner it would make a great technique to use on your Christmas cards. For these cards I used Cheep Talk and Window Dressing stamp sets.
To create the window, stamp your image on your card, then punch or cut out the shape/window. Turn over the card and apply sticky tape across the cut out area. Turn it back over and sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the sticky area and tap off excess. Your glitter window is created! Stamp the images you want to view through your window on card bigger than your window and attach underneath the window. Finish your card!
The Cheep Talk card uses a colour combo as set out by Stampin’Up!’s Colour Coach wheel. I often turn to this when I am looking for colour mixes. This one is Always Artichoke, Real Red and Ballet Blue. the other card uses one of my favourite combinations – Tempting Turquoise Creamy Cocoa and Choc Chip.
