I designed these floating strips cards for a card class I taught at the retreat I attended last weekend. I rehashed the butterfly version I did for my in home class earlier this year. See those cards here and here.
I used the Diorama die to use as the floating layer for the card on the left. Another technique to be able to use this die set for. the die cut on this card is from the Forever Flourishing die set. The leaf die cut is from gold foil to match in with the gold embossing on the Texture Chic Specialty papers.
I love this technique! It is also a terrific way to use up left over paper strips.
