I have to thank Felicity Fernandez, (you can find her blog at stampwithflick.blogspot.com) for showing me this technique when we did the Craft & Quilt Show recently. It is such an easy and effective technique. It is one of the techniques I am teaching at my monthly technique classes this month.
Basically you need to stamp your solid stamp image on dark card in white craft ink. Then using a stamp-a-ma-jig position your image on the clear sheet and place this over your white stamped image. Move the clear sheet slightly downwards and to the right. Hold it there and place positioner in place. Ink up your stamp and stamp image. Keeping positioner in place reink your stamp and restamp the image. This makes the image really stand out on the page.
In these cards I’ve used Elegant Eggplant card and ink and the stamp is Upsy Daisy; Real Red and Inspired By Nature; Pacific Point and Petal Pazzaz.
If you would like to attend one of my classes please email me for dates and times. Cost is $15 to make 3 cards and 3 technique sheets.
I’m finding it hard to believe that only a week ago I was at the start of the Incentive Trip! It’s back to earth with a thud!!!!!!
Enjoy!
