Okay finally made good on my promise to show you the other version of a zig zag card which we will be doing in class this month.
This is the version using Designer Series Paper. For this one I have used paper from the hostess set of DSP papers Cheerful Treat. I will be making some more samples and can’t wait to do one in Paisley Petals DSP.

ZIGZAG CARD
Card in 2 colours or DSP – 12 x 8 inches
Neutral card – 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches
1. Score every 2 inches along long edge of card/DSP.
2. Measure from top of card downright short side of card, 2 inches and mark in pencil. Turn card 180 degrees and repeat on other short side.
3. Using a ruler and craft knife cut between the 2 pencil marks.
4. If using cardstock, stamp background over both card sides.
5. Punch along diagonal edges using a border punch.
6. Zigzag fold each card piece at 4inches & 8 inches – do one piece one way, the other piece the other way.
7. On unfolded scorelines on both pieces pencil mark as follows –
At the 2 inch score, mark at 1 inch from base
6 inch score, mark at 11/2 inches
10 inch score, mark at 2 inches.
8. On one piece cut along scoreline from base to pencil mark. On other piece cut from diagonal edge along scoreline down to pencil mark.
9. Starting at shortest section, interlock the 2 pieces at the cut section, repeat with other 2 cut sections.
10. Decorate as desired. Attach extra card piece to back for additional strength.
