What a wonderful five days away with my crafting friends who also happen to be members of my Stampin’ Up! team. My team and I do craft shows together so a getaway like this lets us discuss our plans for 2022 when we are hoping we can have stands at our favourite craft shows after two years with no face to face connections with customers.
Here is an outline of what we did over the five days. The craft room setup at Creative Dreams Getaways was shown in this post. The photo above I was attempting to capture the gorgeous sunset that you can see in the photo below.
There was crafting done every day but we also took time out to go for walks and sightsee in Maldon and Castlemaine. The photos below show wildflowers on our walk and the most amazing shrub in Castlemaine that had a gorgeous perfume and was attracting bees as we all discovered as we leaned in to sniff the blossoms! It’s known as an Orange Ball tree.
We self catered and had the most delicious meals. This was Friday night dinner, baked potatoes and accompaniments. Dessert was apple crumble made by me and there was a tiny bit left so I wasn’t going to waste it!

We did get a lot of cardmaking done. We ran a shoe box swap and here are all my completed cards and journal. Great ideas and each one so different.
Our time away was fabulous and a great success. We are already booked in at Creative Dreams for October next year we just ned to find a weekend earlier in the year when we can go again as another year is too long to wait!
