Circle Scissor Project

Spread the love

Here is a cute little gift pouch created using a 6 inch circle cut using the new Circle Scissors from the Summer Mini Catalogue. The idea came from a tutorial by Angie Kennedy Juda who is a demonstrator in the US and has the most amazing projects on her blog and video page. I know there is a way to create links but here is her address – http://www.chinscratch.typepad.com/

I’ve used Chocolate Chip card and the band is Tempting Turquoise – one of my favourite colour combinations. The stamp set is For Everything from the Summer Mini as well. I love the little bird in this set, it is so easy to colour and blend colours to shade him in.
These little pouches are perfect to fit in 3 LoveNote cards and Envelopes or a square flat chocolate like these Ghiaradelli ones. ( Thankyou Gail Kirby for getting these for me!) If you make one of these don’t put your band around the middle until you have your goodies inserted and then you can size the band to the correct dimensions. We did these at my Mystery Hostess Workshop and everyone was very pleased with them. They will make cute teacher gifts or little thankyou gifts.

I decorated the Love Notes using the For Everything set. The photo is not all that clear – sorry. I also added a stamped image to the envelope. This is such a cute set!

  1. Janine,

How wonderful to find a fellow Janine. It's an unusual spelling which throughout my life has caused numerous mispronounciations!

And you stamp too!! How neat is that?!!

    Janine
