Card for workshop make and takes

Spread the love

Here is a card I love to do in workshops as it is quick, versatile and is great simple technique to create depth with you images. It is a technique shown to us at Stampin’Up! Convention last year.

The shadow/background effect is created by stamping your first image using Versmark ink. You then build up the images stamping the test in colours of your choice. I think the effect is fabulous!

Cardstock used is Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. Inks are Versamark, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. The Paper tool was used to distress the card edges, the matt pack for the paper pricking detail (good news too, in the new catalogue there is a separate paper piercer listed to buy!) and chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon to finish it all off. I love Choc Chip ribbon and if you do too you had better stock up as it will not be available in the new catalogue due out Sept 1st. Please email me if you would like to make an order.

Next time I am back on I will post some of the cards I have made for our poster display at our stand at the upcoming Paperific Show here in Melbourne.
