Hi Everyone,
Sorry for having been out of touch for so long but as mentioned in an earlier post I have been busy helping out my Mum. She has made a terrific recovery but we are still attending appointments each week which all takes up time. Anyway I have got myself organised and uploaded some photos of my latest creations for you and some older ones too.
I know we are past Christmas but as I did not get on here to show you my Christmas card to my team – here it is! Thanks to Marelle Taylor for the inspiration. It was a lovely quick card to make – just what I needed when time was in short supply.
I used my fav colour of the moment Cherry Cobbler and DSP Jolly Holiday. Stamps are Winter Post and Teeny Tiny Sentiments. The lovely gold shimmer is done using Champagne shimmer paint as a spritzer.
The trick to doing this is adding 10 drops of shimmer paint to a small spray bottle and topping it up with rubbing alcohol – you can get this at the chemist or supermarket. give it all a good shake and spritz away! It gives an amazing look to your creations!
Now that life is settling down a bit – Mum is getting better, Christmas and New Year are over, the Christmas decorations have been packed up (that took a full day!), Christmas sales, one 20 year olds birthday done and then packed her up and off to Cambodia/Vietnam, things are indeed settling. I have just realised that as I sit here typing. Pity that I’m not on hols to enjoy it more!!!!!
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
