The New Flowering Zinnias DSP is available in the Online Exclusives range that became available to everyone yesterday. The papers are so pretty and the colours are bright and vibrant! The papers also come as part of a collection called Flowering Zinnias Suite. A quick post today to share with you the first idea I had for a card as soon as I saw one of the paper designs in the Flowering Zinnias DSP pack.
I trimmed down the page to card front size and then I fussy cut around the top section of the flowers trimming off the white area. You can just see the edges in the photo. I raised up the sheet on Dimensionals to add depth to the card and positioned it on a a Thick Basic White card base. I has stamped the greeting before adding the paper piece. It’s always a bit nerve wracking stamping directly onto your card front especially with a red rubber stamp rather than photopolymer. Big question is am I going to get it straight!
Now if stamping straight onto your card front freaks you out, then try this card layout.
No need to worry about wrecking your base card, stamp the greeting instead onto a card strip, add a backing card strip in a coordinating colour and add to your card front. I raised the basic white greeting up on Dimensionals to give some dimension to the card.
You could get a whole batch of cards done in one sitting this is such a quick and easy card to create. You will get six card fronts form one piece of 12 x 12 paper. This is my favourite design in the pack. Go and see all the other designs in the Flowering Zinnias DSP by clicking here.
You can view the whole new Online Exclusive release by clicking here. There is whole new selection of products added to the Online Exclusives and it is a much bigger selection than in previous releases. It’s like having a new catalogue release! So much to see and take in!!!
