Trishutter Card for 50th birthday

Spread the love

My brother is being a terrific agent for me. He recently asked if I would make a 50th birthday card for one of his colleagues to give her daughter. The only request being the card should have the recipients name and 50 on it.

Well how to decide what to create, that was the dilemma for me! I mulled over doing a double gatefold or trying something totally different. In the end time was a factor so I chose to do a trishutter card and here it is.

I based the card around using one of the retiring Simply Scrappin’Kits – Razzleberry Splash. So everything was there ready for me to use which made creating a bit quicker and easier. I think so much time with card making is taken up with procrastinating about where and what to do next so settling on using the kit did cut down marginally on that aspect!!!!!
The silver glimmer paper made the card really “pop” and they were cut out using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies.
From all reports my “client” loved it – I hope the recipient does too!!!!
