Okay, ready for another installment? Before General Session, swapping was in full swing. Here is my lovely collection of swaps. You will have seen my swap in a previous post on here.
Shelli Gardner, Stampin’Up!’s inspirational CEO opened proceedings. It is always a thrill to see Shelli back in Australia and more so this year following her horse riding accident last year that incapacitated her so badly. Shelli has made a remarkable recovery.
Bonnie and Brian came next and gave us a very entertaining tour of the upcoming annual Stampin’Up! catalogue. The repartee between those two is so funny! We were all itching to get our hands on a copy after their presentation!
A new feature of Convention this year was the Inspire. Create. Share. Workshops. Jacque Williams from NZ showed us how to create some beautiful cards in a workshop setting using “Kindness Matters”.
I loved the new Convention format as it meant I actually finished doing each days Make and Take! Plus I completed our 3 allocated afternoon make and takes made with one of our Convention stamp sets that came with our Convention registration! And look what we received after Jacque’s workshop! The new annual catalogue. Yipee!!!!
Here I am in one of the make and take sessions with my talented downline Nicole Goding. It was a first for her and I to complete the make and takes. We always spend the time catching up on each others news but this year the make and takes were so easy to recreate and an easy design to use in workshops.
After Day One we set off for a Team Dinner with my Inksationals team. We had arranged to do a team swap based on a tag or bookmark. The girls came up with some fantastic designs. Here is my lovely stash!
This is my contribution, a corner bookmark using the Regals Designer series Paper Stack, Flower Shop and Petitie Petals stamp sets, Pansy and Petite Petals punches, and Regals Candy dots and brads.
Thanks so much for staying with me to this point! I’ll be back with more soon.
Cheers
Janine
