Here are my quick and easy Christmas cards that also serve a dual purpose in using up leftover paper strips from other projects. When I made up my August Class in a Kit Pin Wheel card packs I had a load of paper off cuts from the Painted Christmas papers left over.

I came up with this idea that was so easy to create. My paper strips were 1 inch wide so I decided a square card would look good so I cut a piece of Basic White card to 5 x 5 inches, trimmed my paper strips to 5 inches long and glued them side by side to the square card piece.

This piece was then added to a 5.75 x 5.75 square card front. So when unfolded the card base was 5.75 x 11.5 inches in Garden Green. All that was then needed was a sentiment and some bling. The sentiment is from Holly Jolly Wishes and the die cuts were done using the Layering Circles dies. Bling came from the Sequins for Everything collection. This pack will be perfect for all your Christmas bling used individually or inside shaker domes or shaker cards.

Hope this has got your mind ticking over as to how you can reduce that pile of paper off cuts we all create as we craft. Use the concept to create not just Christmas cards but birthday or any occasion cards.

Happy Stamping!

Janine
