The Delicate Petals stamp set and it’s matching dies – Lacy Petals will no longer be available after midnight June 30. I am sorry I didn’t get more time to play with this set of stamps and dies, especially the dies, as the lacy feature to create on the die cut petals would make a gorgeous card feature. Still I managed to sneak in time to create this card the other day.
The base card is Misty Moonlight and the same colour in the Stampin’Blends was used to colour the flowers. These were then die cut using the Lacy Petals dies. I added a couple of Gold Gilded Gems to make the flower centres stand out.
The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped using Gorgeous Grape ink, along with Gorgeous Grape card for the mat. The patterned paper mat is from another retiring product – Hydrangea Heaven Designer Series Paper.
Overall an easy card to create and a good layout to keep in mind for other card creations.
So make sure you give the Last Chance Sale one more look today so you are not disappointed further down the road that you never did get that stamp set or papers that you loved.
