I arrived on the day before Leadership to sunny skies and was very pleased to find our booked apartment was on the 31st floor of The Meriton.
I knew bad weather was on the way so I made the most of the gorgeous weather to make sure I had some photos of the fabulous views!
As my roomies arrived and took in the view they were delighted! It was so much fun to catch up with my “sister” demonstrator Julia from Sunshine Coast, my downline from Melbourne Nicole and Sandra from Christchurch NZ who I met at Convention 6 years ago and we have been good friends ever since.
Being with Stampin’Up! has given me so many wonderful friendships and Convention is always the time to treasure those friendships.
Pillow gifts are of course one of the fun moments of the first night of Convention!
Leadership Session started for us Wednesday afternoon and you just have to have your photo taken by the Inspire, Create Share welcome sign!
Sara Douglass, Interim Stampin’Up! CEO welcomed us to our session and gave us an inspiring talk on how to succeed in our Stampin’Up! businesses.
The evening saw us off to Managers’ Reception. Stampin’Up! always come up with an awesome experience for us at these events. This year we were treated to the Outback Spectacular, a fabulous show which honours the role of the High Plains horsemen and their horses. Here I am with my “sister” demo Julia.
I am very proud of my downline team of Managers and above. They are a great group of ladies!
To finish off this post I had to include this photo of the border collies from the Outback Spectacular. I used to have a black and white border collie so seeing these two beautifully trained dogs brought back some lovely memories.
Come back for my next installment!
Cheers
