Stampin’Up! South Pacific Convention Day 2

Spread the love

On day two we woke to this – gales and horizontal rain!

Bare feet and rolled up pants was the only way to walk to and from Convention and save our shoes from a soaking!

Here is another one of the koala statues that I mentioned in my last post. This one was inside the Convention Centre – out of the rain!!! that’s the Convention bag I ‘m holding.

Sara Douglas did a wonderful stage stamping demonstration highlighting the new 2015 Ronald McDonald House Charity Stamp set – ” Sprinkles of Life” 139971. When you purchase this set Stampin’Up! will donate $3 from the sale to RMHC.

Sara displayed several lovely cards created using this stamp set. A definite MUST buy! Plus there is a co-ordinating punch – Tree Builder.

More lovely samples from the morning session. This one showcases the Build a Birthday stamp set.

A great example using the new In Colours.

Make and Take session.

Another of the pretty cards from the Tins of Cards Project Kit.

Can’t get enough of these new In Colours. I’m hoping my preorder turns up tomorrow to start playing with them!

A wet walk back to our apartment to change for Awards Night and a taxi ride back to the Convention Centre in our finery. I made a stage walk for a milestone award but the night belonged to my downline Tracy Penn! Placed second for sales in Australia, earning a Performance Bonus and the Incentive Trip! I am so thrilled for you Tracy and your success! Well done!

Simone Bartrum also had a successful night being awarded the Incentive Trip. Simone joined my team nearly 8 years ago. She has had a wonderfully successful Stampin’Up! career!  I am so proud to have both of you as my downlines. You are fabulous demonstrators and you have a terrific team of demonstrators! Enjoy Hawaii next week!

The Photo Booth is a fixture at the After Party now! It’s always fun dressing up and striking the pose! This pic was taken side on as we set our pose. Love these girls – my Convention roomies!

Now you have to be quick with these photo booths – 3 photos taken in quick succession, I wasn’t quick enough to remove the glasses! But I do like this photo!

It was a super fun evening of entertainment. And we still had another day of Convention to look forward to!

Cheers!

Janine
