Following on from my last post where I asked if you like colouring then try this method of colouring using the Stampin’Up! True Love Designer Series Papers. In that post I suggested trying the method of colouring the background rather than the images themselves. You can see the post if you click here. Today I’m sharing the same idea however this time I have stamped the images.
The stamped image you can see came from the Forever & Always stamp set and is from the same Suite of products as the True Love papers, the Love You Always Suite. So the flower image was stamped using Black Memento Ink. Remember if colouring with Stampin’Blends alcohol pens you must use a water base ink otherwise your colour will bleed as the pen reacts with the ink used to stamp the image.
I stamped on Shimmery White cardstock and in the photo above you can make out the shimmer showing through the Melon Mambo Blends colouring. The sentiment came from the Art Gallery stamp set and was die cut using dies from the co-ordinating set – Floral Gallery dies. To add more shimmer I added some Basic Rhinestones and the ribbon also has bling – Black Glittered Organdy ribbon.
I have so enjoyed creating these cards and I suggest you give it a try too.
Happy Stamping,
Janine
