Here is my Stampin’ Up! easel card made with the Wildlife Wonder stamp set. I created this card for my eldest son’s birthday tomorrow. He is a great outdoor enthusiast and I know he will appreciate this card and it’s images. I love how the whole card turned out and am rather chuffed it worked out so well!
The images stamp up so well! Look at the shading and toning on the bear image.
I stamped the bear in Early Espresso ink and fussy cut the image. The card front was done on Basic White card. I stamped and second generation stamped the fir trees from the Evergreen Elegance set in Shaded Spruce. A great way to get more use from a Christmas stamp set. The sky was created by using blending brush and Balmy Blue ink. The same process for the ground done in Sahara Sand.
How cool is the matching shadow stamp for the bear? This was stamped in Gray Granite. Once this was all done I adhered the bear image to the card. The banner looked to stark in just Basic White so I blended it with Balmy Blue ink to match the background.
Above you can see the inside of the card. The added images were stamped in Gray Granite. I love the font and the greetings in the Wildlife Wonder stamp set too!
The card base is Misty Moonlight with Early Espresso and Shade Spruce mats. Card front size is 6×6 inches.
