Here is my recent team swap card using the Meadow dies. These dies are so versatile. There is also a matching stamp set and you can order the two together as a bundle and save 10% on the individual cost of getting them separately. Do you like the background for my cards? I have used the Ombre Specialty Paper which is a glitter style cardstock. It comes in these four colours pictured above – Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape and Night of Navy. Being ombre the colour density goes from dark at the bottom of the 12×12 sheet to a much lighter density at the top of the sheet.
The silhouettes are created by die cutting the images from Basic Black card, this creates a striking contrast to the ombre glitter backgrounds. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment from the matching stamp set – Quiet Meadow in the matching ink to the background. The die for the sentiment is also included in the Meadow die set.
To complete the whole look I added Gold Simply Elegant Trim threaded through and under the die cut sentiment plus a separate bow tied with the same trim. The trim gave the final touch to the card that was needed. I got pretty good at tying those bows after completing 20 of them for my swaps!
