Stampin’Up! Blendabilities – My First Creation!

Spread the love
Here is my first creation after having my first play with my new Stampin’Up! Blendabilities. At the recent Stampin’Up! Convention we were all lucky enough to receive the Calypso Coral Blendabilities pack!  I love colouring in pictures ( the reason I took up stamping all those years ago! ) and these Blendabilities are right up my alley!

See how different the two images look? Just goes to show how adding more or less colour or blending more than less creates different levels of colour intensity. As my Stampin’Up! preorder has not arrived yet I didn’t have a black Memento ink pad to stamp my images with so instead I stamped the flowers with Versamark ink and heat embossed the image with Basic Black embossing powder. Using Staz-On ink or other inkpads will only cause your colouring in to bleed with the ink and make your image all muddy.

The gift cards are 3×3 inches. The floral image is from a retiring stamp set – Secret Garden. You only have until June 30 to purchase it then it will be GONE! I’ll be sad to see this set go as I have had so much use from it.

For the leaves I used Summer Silhouettes stamp set and on the left inked the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and on the right Old Olive.

Table by StampinBuddy. Try it FREE.

I hope my preorder turns up soon! I can’t wait to play with all the other Blendabilities I have ordered! You will be able to order yours from July 1st!

Cheers

Janine
