Spotlighting is a great technique and here I have done spotlighting with Stampin’Up! Daisy Garden stamp. This technique is terrific if you are not keen on colouring a complete stamped image.
The idea is you stamp the image twice and punch or die cut the selected areas you wish to highlight. Colour these punched out pieces and then line them up perfectly with the first entire stamped image. To colour my spotlight pieces I used my Stampin’Write Markers.
Being a large image the Daisy Garden stamp is perfect for this technique. Add your sentiment, pop the image on a mat and then onto a folded base card and you are done.
