Simple Stamping at it’s best with Blossoms in Bloom

Are you after a quick easy card and need it in a hurry? This card is your perfect solution. As the title of this post says, Simple Stamping at it’s best with Blossoms in Bloom stamp set from Stampin’Up! I created this card in well under 10 minutes. The longest part was probably deciding which colours to use!

I commenced with a base card of Shimmery White card folded in half. To stamp the large floral image I used my Stamparatus. Why? This stamp requires a large G size clear block which can be quite heavy and hard to hold/balance over your card whereas with the Stamparatus you position your stamp on the card where you would like it, fold the clear stamping sheet over onto the stamp to adhere, open back, ink and fold down again to stamp in the exact spot you chose. No blocks tipping out of your hand, no smudges on your card and you can reink and stamp if not happy with how much ink has come out on the stamped result.

Use your smaller clear blocks to stamp the other images and because this is a photopolymer stamp set you can see through the stamps and see exactly where you want your inked image to be. Add your greeting and voila a finished single layer, simple stamping card!

The ink colours I used were Terracotta Tile, Mossy Meadow, and Bumblebee.

When I next have a stamping session I am going to try this card in different colour combinations. Using the Shimmery white card means there is no need for extra bling as you have the soft shimmer of the cardstock showing through your stamped images. Love it!
