Sometimes no matter how hard you try to be economical with your patterned papers inevitably you will end up with leftover random strips of paper. Well here is a terrific way to use up those leftover paper strips.
Add the strips, here I have used various widths the widest being one inch, to a piece of neutral colour card. If you have any overhang trim that off once the paper strips are all glued in place. For my card I have used the gorgeous Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.
Add this card piece onto a couple of coordinating coloured mats and then onto your folded card base. Add a sentiment, this one came from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, die cut it out with the Tasteful Labels dies. To give a bit of extra detail I added some gold cord from the Forever Greenery Trim combo pack.
