I love creating one layer cards using a masked sponging technique. They are relatively quick to create, the longest part is deciding what colours to use for the stamp set you have chosen!
This is one of the cards I made for our recent Paper Arts Paper Expo display. This sponged background is a great way to show off detailed stamp sets with out having to spend time colouring them in.
For this particular card I decided to go a bit lighter with the sponging and not make the colour too vibrant as I felt softer was better for a “Thinking of You” card.
Colours used for the sponging are Pool Party, Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey.
