Class tonight – the first one for the year! Everything is set for my ladies who are attending tonight and I am very excited to be sharing with you one of the cards they can choose to make in this class.
I had a lot of fun creating this card. I bought this stamp set Boys will be Boys when it was on the Stampin’Up! Weekly Deals recently. It wasn’t ever on my wish list but I thought it would a great set for my customers and class ladies to have a play with and then having the set being available at a discount, I decided well why not give it a try! It does pay to check out the Weekly Deals each week, you never know what you will discover there!
Here is my trishutter card.
These are not the easiest cards to photograph so here are two more card views!
The diagonal striped card is from the Irresistibly Yours Sale-a-bration Designer Speciality Paper range which you can currently receive for free when you make a Stampin’Up!order worth $90 (Aust). I have brayered over each card piece in either Basic Black, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight or Real Red. Once brayered I have rubbed over the card with a tissue to wipe off the ink on the resist areas of the card. Pretty easy to create some great effects! I did discover that the Basic Black does not wipe off as cleanly as the other colours but then that made the background card choice a lot easier!
The card base is Smoky Slate. The images were coloured using Stampin’Write Markers.
