Sorry it has been awhile since I lasted posted. Life has been very busy with my recovery from my fall, packing up a household of furniture to get new carpets and a new grand baby! So while I had a moment I thought l would get on here and show you my welcome baby card using the Hearts & Hugs bundle for our new grandson.
I created a double easel fun fold card and featured the Hearts & Hugs bundle of stamps and dies along with the Mini Alphabet dies. The Hearts & Hugs bundle has the cutest images which are fun to colour in. Stampin’ Blends were my choice of colouring medium for this card. I used light and dark Smoky Slate Blends to colour my images. To get the depth of colour just keep adding more colour over the areas you want darker and blend across into the lighter shaded areas.
If you haven’t seen the Mini Alphabet dies before, they are briefly mentioned in the Annual Catalogue, but not shown as a highlighted product because they are an Online Exclusive item. They were released in March this year into the Online Exclusives selection.
The sweet little hearts are dies in the Hearts & Hugs bundle. Extra products used for this card are Thick Basic White card, Smoky Slate, Real Red and Blueberry Bushell cardstock, Basics 3D embossing folder and Iridescent Striped Trim.
My daughter likes to keep her baby cards from me on display so this fun fold card makes a perfect style for displaying.
