Fathers Day is nearly here! Have you made your Fathers Day card/s yet? Fathers Day is September 5 here in Australia. Sadly my father passed away 36 years ago so Fathers Day is still tough to get through. I do have a Father in law to make cards for though!
My Father in Law was a business man so this card is perfect for him. I’ve used the Handsomely Suited stamp set and matching Suit & Tie dies. Did you notice the embossing behind the ties. it’s a new embossing folder from the Mini catalogue – Star-Crossed. The cardstock is Merry Merlot.
The sentiment comes from the same stamp set. I stamped it in Black Staz-On ink onto vellum, then die cut it out using Stitched Rectangle dies. I then die cut a piece of Smoky Slate card using the same size rectangle die and adhered the vellum over that using Mini glue dots.
If you haven’t got around to making a card for your Dad or the special man in your life, you have a week and a bit to be ready!
