Stampin’Up! True Love DSP Colour card

Do you like or even love colouring in images? Then you will have to try this version of colouring using the new True Love Designer Series Papers from Stampin’Up! No need to concern yourself about getting the shading and highlights right, just get into the zone and colour in the background only.

So simple and so easy to get yourself into being mindful and enjoying the whole process. I did one version in one colour and enjoyed it so much as a result I continued on and coloured in five using each of the different Stampin’Up! Blends pens for the In Colours and an extra one Calypso Coral to make up for there not being a Terracotta Tile set of Blends.

The True Love Designer Series Papers are in the current Mini catalogue and they are all black and white images just begging to be coloured in. Six different floral designs to choose from. You could use Stampin’Blends, Stampin’Up! marker pens or Stampin’Up! watercolour pencils. Or leave the images alone and go for a pure black and white look on your cards.

So starting with the first card, it has been coloured using the Light Pretty Peacock Blends pen, the next card was done using the Light Magenta Madness Blends pen, after that one I used the Light Purple Posy pen. Below is the Seaside Spray version and below that is the Calypso Coral version.

The reason I chose the 2019-2021 In Colours to use for colouring was I had all the matching ribbons to complete the co-ordinated look of my cards. The Story Label punch was used to punch out the sentiment which came from (I had to go through all the catalogues to find it!) the Garden Wishes stamp set in the Mini catalogue. I plan to keep going with these cards and use them for my team birthday cards this year because I enjoy the colouring in process so much!

Hope you give this style of colouring in a try.

Happy Stampuing,

Janine
