The Butterfly Bijou 6×6 papers are SO pretty, no wonder they sold out in three weeks in Australia and in less than two weeks in the US! I made this card the day before the announcement of the papers selling out and I was in two minds about posting it, however I love this card so much especially the inside that I just had to show it off!
The way the Brilliant Wings dies work with these papers is the reason the papers sold out so quickly.
See all those butterflies around the edge of the paper? I didn’t want to see them go to waste so I fussy cut them out and used them. Where? Look below!
Doesn’t that look fabulous! The perfect result to using every image on the 6×6 sheet.
For the front of the card I positioned some of the butterflies up on Dimensionals and others were glued straight onto the Shimmery White card mat. I added some Wink of Stella spatter to the Shimmery White before attaching the butterflies. Some Elegant Faceted Gems finished off the card front.
The card size is a 6×6 card front so the base card is Basic Black 6 x 12 inches. It’s sad the these pretty papers are sold out. Here’s hoping there is another matching paper design in the new Annual Catalogue due for us as Demonstrators to view tomorrow morning!
